On March 25th, 2022 the Foo Fighters family tragically lost Taylor Hawkins. We at FooFightersLive send our condolences to his family, friends, and every other member of the large Foo Fighters Family.

Taylor was my biggest idols and is who inspired me to keep drumming as he should be an inspiration to all, not just drummers but people who want to good in this world. He will be missed deeply.
I had the pleasure of seeing Taylor play with FF twice and I’ve always called them the best shows I’ve ever been to. I grew up watching Taylor on MTV and now it feels like a part of my childhood has died. My condolences to his family & friends. Heaven is so lucky.

The first time I saw Taylor play was in the summer of 98 on the “colour and the shape” tour. I was in grade 8. Witnessing his ferociousness on the drums and in the band changed my life forever. He will be greatly missed. His music and spirit will be celebrated for generations.

I got to see Foo Fighters perform live at the Love Ride ‘15. To this day that is still one of my favorite live concerts I’ve been to and what made it so special was to see how involved with the entire gig Taylor was. He didn’t just stay behind his kit and play when needed.

As a younger fan, I grew up listening to the Foo’s and Taylor kicking ass on every album. I’m beyond grateful that I got to see him once and hear his beautiful rendition of Somebody to Love - Queen. He was one of the best to ever do it and will be so incredibly missed. RIP
Remember I saw you with Alanis in Obras Stadium in 1996 and I was stunned by your drums performance. Later with Foos, you tracked many drummers way of playing. Thanks and Rest easy Big Man!
