First Foo Fighters performance outside of North America.

Before playing Winnebago Dave discounted media rumours at the time which were suggesting many Foo Fighters songs were about Kurt Cobain. Dave told the crowd that none of his songs were about his late former bandmate.

It is commonly misreported that Foo Fighters played this show as an opening act for Teenage Fanclub. Teenage Fanclub played at the same venue the night previous and although Foo Fighters were rumoured to open for them, they did not.
