Dave Grohl joined Jimmy Fallon as joint host for an episode of his late night show. Dave was alongside Jimmy through the opening monologue and Jimmy told Dave about a viral video where the Foo Fighters song 'Best Of You' was performed but the lyrics kept looping over at "the best" like a skipping record. Jimmy asks Dave to re-create the video live which he obliges, with Jimmy joining in once he gets to the skipping line.

In the next segment of the show the pair play the game 'Off Songs Song Off' which saw them both trying to guess songs played by The Roots where each had something "a little off", like an incorrect drum beat, different tempo, key or genre entirely.

Jimmy then interviews Dave, before both interview Lil Nas X.
