After a successful one-off guest presenting role on the show the previous year Dave returned to the host position of Chelsea Handler's Chelsea Lately for a full week in 2013. The episode follows the standard format of the show with an opening sketch, a news segment with the guest and panellists breaking down current affairs followed by an interview with a special guest.

On this episode Rick Springfield was the special guest, who at the time had just played with Dave on the Sound City project.
