Dave appeared on the show as part of a comedy sketch called 'Me'.
He began playing an acoustic version of 'Big Me' before the host told him he played the wrong chord. The guitar was then destroyed as part of a planned joke, with Grohl claiming it was a gift from Tom Petty.
