Recordings made directly from the soundboard and related professional equipment. Sound is taken from microphones placed on the stage, pointed at the amplifiers and drums, plus any vocal microphones. Microphones pointed at the audience are usually also included in the mix for ambience. These recordings are usually very high quality, but can vary.
