After a successful demo session at the start of the year and with touring for the first album finally at an end Foo Fighters turned their attention to recording their second album of the band, the first as a four-piece. Their first stop in the process was Dave's old haunt, Barrett Jones Laundry Room Studios, to lay down some initial demos.
