Movie and TV soundtracks were hugely popular in the late 90s and early 2000s and Spring of 2000 saw Foo Fighters with yet another request, this time asked to record a contribution for the soundtrack to upcoming movie sequel Mission Impossible II. Just as with their first soundtrack contribution back in 1996 the band decided on a cover song, although this time it'd be one they'd already recorded previously.
