Grant Hart was one third of American punk-rock band Hüsker Dü, an act that heavily influenced Dave Grohl and the sound of Foo Fighters. Alongside Bob Mould and Greg Norton, Grant released several LP’s including the highly celebrated Zen Arcade. Grant released several solo works and formed Nova Mob. Grant died in 2017.
Grant appeared twice with Foo Fighters, both at their shows in Minneapolis in 2002 and 2003. He accompanied them on their covers of Hüsker Dü’s ‘Never Talking To You Again’ and ‘The Girl Who Lives on Heaven Hill’.
