Zac Brown is an American singer-songwriter best known for his eponymously-named group the Zac Brown Band. Zac provided additional vocals on the Foo Fighters track ‘Congregation’ from Sonic Highways, recorded at Zac’s own Southern Ground Studios in Nashville. Subsequently, Zac has appeared to jam with the band several times, including a Halloween show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in 2014 and a double whammy cameo with Tom Morello to cover ‘War Pigs’ during the band’s Super Saturday Night pre-Super Bowl show.
Dave Grohl produced a recording session with the Zac Brown Band, which was released in 2013 as The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1 (although no further collections were released).
