Butch Vig is an American musician, songwriter, and producer who has enjoyed a long tenure as a member of rock band Garbage. As a producer, Butch’s history with Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters began when Butch produced Nirvana’s game-changing album Nevermind. With Foo Fighters, he produced their albums Wasting Light and Sonic Highways, as well as being at the helm for the soundtrack to the Sound City documentary film.
