Violet is the eldest daughter of Dave Grohl. Violet is a singer and multi-instrumentalist. She has performed with Foo Fighters at numerous live shows - notably covering Adele’s ‘When We Were Young’ at the Notes & Words benefit concert in 2018, which went viral - and recorded backing vocals on the studio albums Medicine at Midnight and But Here We Are. Violet also performed lead vocals on the standalone single ‘Nausea’ - a cover of the song by punk band X with her dad - tying in with the release of the documentary What Drives Us.
In 2026 she released her own debut album, 'Be Sweet To Me'.
