Cee-Lo Green is an American singer, rapper, producer, and writer best known for his hits ‘Fuck You’ (solo) and ‘Crazy’ (as part of Gnarls Barkley). He was among the guests appearing at the band’s 2007 VMA’s set in the show’s Hot Pink Suite, lending vocals to Prince’s ‘Darling Nikki’ and Queens of the Stone Age’s ‘Make It Wit U’. Foo Fighters filled in for Cee-Lo during an afternoon slot at Hangout Music Festival in 2011, when he was running late. Throwing together a quick covers set, they were in the middle of ‘Darling Nikki’ when he finally appeared, prompting them to start the song again with him taking over the lead.
